GHC Presents: Graduate/Undergraduate Student Networking Night

Join the Global Health Coalition at UCLA and the DGSOM Global Health Interest Group for a networking night, consisting of a graduate student panel and dinner on the hill!

Students will be able to hear from and network with graduate/professional students from multiple disciplines involved in varying aspects global health.

Global Health Fair!

Friday, October 14 at 5:30 PM – 7 PM

The Global Health Coalition at UCLA, with the Office of Residential Life and the Blum Center on Poverty and Health in Latin America, presents the first ever global health fair on the hill!

The event will include a faculty panel where students will be able to ask questions, gain advice, and hear inspiring stories from experts. This will be followed by a poster walk, in which organizations from across campus will be presenting their work. Don’t miss this great opportunity to network!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our first event! Over 50 students attended to meet and network with others passionate about global health, as well as hear some inspiring words from Dr. Michael Rodriguez, Director of the UCLA Blum Center on poverty and Health in Latin America, and Dr. Cindy Fan, Vice Provost for International Studies and Global Engagement. GHC at UCLA Announces Kick-off Event!

When: Thursday, May 26 from 7 PM – 9 PM

Where: Venice Room A/B, Carnesale Commons, UCLA

With the support of the UCLA Blum Center on Poverty and Health in Latin America and the UCLA Office of Residential Life, the Global Health Coalition is proud to present our Kick-off event!

This event is the first-ever of its kind to be hosted on UCLA’s campus, as it celebrates and cultivates the ongoing, rapidly growing, global health space at UCLA.

The event will feature faculty speakers, refreshments, and opportunities for networking! Guests include Dr. Cindy Fan, Vice Provost for International Studies and Global Engagement, Dr. Tom Coates, Director of the Center for World Health and Dr. Michael Rodriguez, Director of the UCLA Blum Center on Poverty and Health in Latin America.
